Victoria Beckham wished her father Tony Adams a happy birthday on Wednesday as she shared a sweet Instagram snap with him.

The fashion designer, 48, took to social media to mark the occasion and wrote a loving caption to him alongside a picture of them dancing together.

Tony - who has been married to Victoria's mother Jackie since 1970 - held on to his daughter in the snap as he slow-danced with her.

Family: Victoria Beckham wished her father Tony Adams a happy birthday on Wednesday as she shared a sweet Instagram snap with him and penned a loving message alongside

Victoria looked as glamorous as ever in a long green dress with a chain design on it as she fixed the camera with her pose.

Meanwhile Tony - real name Anthony - looked dapper in a navy suit, crisp white shirt and light blue tie.

The picture posted was taken at Victoria's husband David's father's wedding last year.

She penned in the caption: 'Happy Birthday dad!! We all love you so so much and can’t wait to celebrate with you! Kisses from us all!'

Cute! She also shared this snap with her parents as they relaxed on a boat

Funny: Also on Wednesday Victoria shared a snap of their family dog and made a joke

It comes after earlier this week Victoria insisted wanting to be thin is an 'old-fashioned attitude,' after spending much of her youth maintaining a famously slender physique.

Talking body confidence, her new VB body range and fitness regimes with Grazia magazine, the star raised the notion that modern women want to 'look healthy, and curvy' - with the slimmer frame becoming a thing of the past.

She said: 'It's an old-fashioned attitude, wanting to be really thin. I think women today want to look healthy, and curvy.

'They want to have some boobs - and a bum. The curvier you are, the better my VB Body dresses look.'

Throwback! It comes after last year Victoria shared this old snap from when she was younger with her dad to mark his birthday

Victoria's VB Body range - featuring tight knit jersey dresses and separates - was in fact designed with a curvaceous figure in mind.

'Every woman wants a nice, round, curvy bottom, right? For that, you need a really tight knit that nips you in at the waist and holds you in all the right places,' she explained.

The mother-of-four, whose only daughter is ten-year-old Harper, finds the attitude and style of curvier women liberating - and inspiring for her children.

She said: 'There are a lot of really curvy women in Miami, and they really own it, you know? They walk along Miami beach with not a lot of clothes on, and they look fantastic.

Family time: Victoria enjoys a very close bond with both her parents and spends quality time with them regularly (pictured together last year)

'They show their bodies off with such confidence. I found both their attitude and their style really liberating. And as a mother, I loved the fact that Harper was around women who were really celebrating their curves and enjoying how they look.'

Victoria may be an internationally recognised style icon and fashion designer but she admitted her latest venture was also to help her feel 'sexy again.'

'For quite a few years, the more time I spent working in fashion, the more clothes I wore and I ended up buried under all these 'fashion' layers.

'Last year when I was in Miami and starting to go out again, post-Covid, I wanted a change. I wanted to feel sexy again,' she recalled.

And husband and retired footballer David is a fan of the figure-hugging line, as she went on to detail.

'Much as I do dress for myself, I also love the fact that he [David] loves me in these dresses. Men love to see a bit of shape.'

Speaking of shape, the Harlow-born, Hertfordshire-raised global superstar is working on her bottom - and revealed she is focusing on lifting heavy weight five or six days a week with a personal trainer and her 'hilarious' workout buddy David.

'I've always been a bit scared of weights, but it turns out I love them. I've even got those special gloves to wear! It's good to switch things up and keep your body guessing. I've got so much more muscle tone now.'

Victoria, who has been married to Inter Miami CF president David for almost 22 years, said that while he is 'amazing' in the gym, he is the one most likely to procrastinate.
