Billboard Awards 2022: Diddy wears all-white outfit as host promises to 'uncancel the canceled' on 25th anniversary of winning his first BBMA

Sean 'Diddy' Combs wore an all-white outfit on Sunday as he promised to 'uncancel the canceled' while hosting the 2022 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.

The 52-year-old rapper upon arrival at the MGM Grand Garden Arena told E! about his decision to invite Morgan Wallen, who apologized last July after using racist language, and Travis Scott, whose Astroworld festival ended in tragedy last November when 10 concertgoers died from a crowd surge.

'Tonight, first of all, we are uncanceling the canceled. Love does not rock like that. I looked at Morgan's situation. I looked at Travis' situation. I was like, man, if I got some power to do something about that ...We can't start that in the music industry or even in life,' said Diddy while clutching a bottle of DeLeón Tequila.

'I'm here to forgive, to unify, to celebrate and have everybody be free. That's my job,' he added.

Diddy was back 25 years after winning the Billboard Music Awards for Top Rap Song and Top Rap Artist.

'Full circle. Better than ever. Executive producer and hosting,' said Diddy who polished off his outfit with black dress shoes while accessorizing with sunglasses.

'And more importantly, I have this manifested into love and just raising the frequency. I'm really locked in on that. So tonight we're gonna have a good time and DeLeón Tequila is going up. Everything's going up,' he said while taking a shot on the carpet.

The evening will honor the year's top performing artists on the Billboard Charts across all genres of music and showcase spectacular performances and surprise collaborations.

Among the musical acts confirmed is Scott, 31, will be making his first TV appearance since his deadly Astroworld festival last year that left 10 fans dead.

Scott will be joined by a host of other performers on the evening, including Megan Thee Stallion, Ed Sheeran, Becky G, Elle King, Florence + The Machine, Maxwell, Morgan Wallen, and Silk Sonic.
