In the first picture, Dawn showed off the natural colour transformation.
Even more dramatically, in the second picture, Dawn lifted up her locks to reveal her brand new undercut - with the silver colouring in line with her approach to embrace going grey.

Dawn's hair transformation comes after she called out a fake diet advert using her images in June and branded it as 'bo*****s' in an impassioned tweet.
She took to Twitter to hit back at the sham testimonial which used falsely attributed quotes from her.
The actress shared a screenshot of the fake advert to her Twitter which she captioned with 'Keto lies…' and wrote 'b****x' over it.
Now and then: Dawn showed off the colour transformation of her hair after opting for a much lighter brunette shade, a far cry from her trademark dark locks
The sham testimonial used two pictures of Dawn, claiming to be before and after, with falsely attributed quotes from her.
It read: 'All I can say is that it works! I dropped a total of 6.4 stones in the course of five months! Beret the catch, with no exercise!
'I wanted to see if it would do as they claimed it would if I did no exercise and to my surprise it did - Dawn French, 61.'

Last year, Dawn decided it was time to leave her beloved Fowey after the town had become 'too cool and trendy' after 15 years in her harbourside home.
The Vicar of Dibley discovered the answer to her woes - a stunning Victorian villa in a quiet and secluded village elsewhere in Cornwall.
Since moving in, Dawn has regularly given her 314,000 followers a glimpse into her new home on her Instagram page.
One image, shared shortly after the star moved into her new pad showed her Parson Russell Terrier sat in a decorative doorway surrounded by Georgian windows.
Dawn and her husband, Mark Bignell, 56, made the decision to relocate to the Cornwall and Devon border, with waterside views.
And what she left: Last year, Dawn decided it was time to leave her beloved Fowey after the town had become 'too cool and trendy' after 15 years in her harbourside home. She bought Point Neptune House (above) for £3million in 2006
With its narrow thoroughfares, boutique style shops and characterful pubs, the village is reminiscent of her beloved Fowey.
The spot remains off the beaten tourist track, enabling Dawn to avoid the crowds that swamp Fowey in the summer months.
The star and her husband have snapped up a secluded five-bedroom house in the village, offering plenty of peace and privacy. While it is unclear how much they paid, the property last sold for just over £1.1million in 2009.

The house, set in three acres, retains many of its original period features including a stained glass window and tiled floors.
As well as the main house, the property has an annexe with its own bedroom, kitchen, living room and shower room, which was used by the previous owners as an Airbnb let.
There is also a separate coach house with two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room and a kitchen as well as its own garden and parking space.
Floral: Another glimpse at Dawn's home revealed a cabinet adorned with floral displays
Wow! Dawn also posted a picture of her dimly-lit bedroom
The sprawling grounds include a Victorian glass house, potting shed, two paddocks and a fruit and vegetable allotment.
They also want to build an open walkway between the main house and the annexe, which will be turned into office space.
The walkway will have slated, pitched roof in keeping with the design of the rest of the house, according to the planning application. A parish council spokesman declined to comment when approached by the Daily Mail.
