'She's a great woman!': Lala Kent says ex fiancé Randall Emmett's ex-wife Ambyr Childers is 'the best thing that ever happened to him'

Lala Kent had plenty to say on a recent episode of Bravo's Watch What Happens Live with host Andy Cohen.

Among the topics the 31-year-old star touched on was her ex fiancé Randall Emmett's ex wife Ambyr Childers, 33.

'I will be honest — I think she is the best thing that ever happened to that guy,' Lala admitted.

Ambyr was married to Emmett, 50, from 2009 to 2017 and the exes share two daughters, London, 11, and Rylee, eight.

Kent appeared on Tuesday's episode of the show with her Vanderpump Rules costar James Kennedy.

In the virtual interview she said that she and the You actress got off to a bad start in their relationship.

'I feel like our road was very bumpy, as you know, and I can understand why. I have a lot of compassion for her,' said the Utah native.

What she was referring to was the fact that Lala and Randall began their relationship while the former couple was finalizing their divorced.

At the time, she received criticism from some of her Vanderpump Rules costars for dating a man who was still married.

But it's all water under the bridge now. 'I think she is a great woman and a great mom,' the Give Them Lala podcaster said.

During their years-long marriage the movie producer and entertainer broke up twice - once in 2015, and a second and final time in 2016.

Lala's and Randall's relationship was in full force by 2017.

Looking back, the mom-of-one said about their coupling: 'I just think the way that he and I came to be, looking back on it, was so gross and messy and just something that was built on nothing but lies.'

And speaking on Childers once again she added, 'Knowing what I know about her, I think she was a good one and he messed up.'

Lala and Randall became engaged in September 2018 but their planned April 2020 vows were delayed due to the Covid-19 lockdown.

The wedding was rescheduled for 2022, but in October 2021 Lala broke off the engagement once she found out her future husband had been unfaithful.

The Give Them Lala author said on WWHL, 'It's been kind of repeated behavior that I have found out about and it's not just one person, it's many.'

The former couple welcomed their daughter Ocean in March of last year.

Earlier this month Lala paid tribute to her baby girl with a video montage of them together and said, '2021 will forever be the best year of my entire life. It brought me Ocean. & now, with my girl by my side, we’re about to pop off on 2022. We’re gonna live a good life.'
