Daytime Emmy Award-winning host Kelly Clarkson 'was nervous as hell singing' another Kellyoke cover of one of Janet Jackson's many hit songs on her talk show Tuesday.

The 39-year-old pop powerhouse belted out the 55-year-old R&B diva's 1986 track What Have You Done for Me Lately? with her band as Janet listened to the performance via satellite.

'I am going to be really honest with you. I'm sweating so much from singing and you can hear it so well,' Kelly began the interview.

Jackson replied: 'I love the way you cover my music. I think you're an absolutely wonderful singer and I love to hear it, so thank you.'

The five-time Grammy winner publicly announced her approval by retweeting the cover on Tuesday captioned with a blue heart.

It was technically the second time after Janet retweeted Clarkson's September 21 cover of her 1989 song Escapade with the caption: 'Luv u!'

'You not only tweeted me after Escapade. I died, when I did Escapade,' the three-time Grammy winner recalled.

'But you did something so nice and you sent me flowers and the little message was so sweet and I was having such a hard time, so thank you so much. You have no idea what it meant, so I just wanted to say thank you for that.'

Kelly - who's finalizing her divorce from Brandon Blackstock - then told her she'd love to have a playdate with her five-year-old son Remington and Jackson's five-year-old son Eissa.

'We have to get them together! Please let's do that,' the Made for Now singer agreed.

Clarkson has also covered Janet's songs If and Love Will Never Do (Without You) and told her: 'Seriously, I can't even put into words how incredible you are and how much you've impacted us.'

And Jackson said she's been rooting for the four-time Voice champ ever since she kicked off her career winning Fox's American Idol in 2002.

The Oscar-nominated songwriter executive produced and stars in her two-part titular documentary, which airs this Friday and Saturday on Lifetime/A&E.
