Hollywood star Rebel Wilson has gained an unlikely friendship with Sydney-based reality star, Brittany Hockley.
And Brittany shared a number of photos of herself with the star on Instagram on Sunday - which appear to be throwbacks from New Year's Eve.
Rebel looked to be at her harbourside home in Sydney alongside Brittany and her long-time friend Sam Kennedy and dentist, Dr Simon Khalil.

The foursome certainly looked to be in a good spirits with Rebel throwing up the double peace sign sitting on the jetty.
Brittany, Sam and Simon also looked animated as they made signs with their hands in the cutesy portrait shots.
Bachelor star Brittany then shared the iconic promotional photo of the cast of Dawson's Creek on the jetty with her making a comparison.

It comes after a report that Rebel is single and 'active on celebrity dating app Raya as of last week' according to the Herald Sun's Page 13 this week.
The publication understands that the Melbourne 'it' crowd have joined the exclusive app in a bid to meet people while socialising on the Australian Open scene.

Rebel, who has lost a staggering 35 kilograms (77.1 lbs) since embarking on her 'Year of Health' in 2019, sparked romance rumours with tennis pro Matt Reid, 31, in December.

Prior to their appearance at the awards, the Pitch Perfect star was seen hanging out with Matt at the U.S. Open in New York City in August.
They were also spotted looking cosy over breakfast at a cafe in Hornsby, Sydney, near Matt's family home last month.

It has been reported that Rebel met the tennis star through her pal Brittany, while Matt knows Brittany's boyfriend Jordan through the professional tennis circuit.
During the breakfast, the pair were seen laughing and joking together, with Rebel unable to hide her broad smile.
Onlookers told MailOnline that the comedian and the professional athlete looked very happy together and were laughing and joking throughout their intimate meal.

The rumoured relationship with Matt comes almost a year after she split from her billionaire ex-boyfriend, Jacob Busch.
Meanwhile Rebel continues to make headlines for her 35 kilogram weight loss after embarking on a health and fitness journey back in 2019.
In an interview with The Sunday Telegraph's Stellar magazine in October last year, Rebel said she understands why people are 'so obsessed' with her shrinking frame and has learnt to embrace her 'inner siren' and step into her 'own power'.
